What's up??

Karen has been very busy  since I last updated this site.  She continues to do Irish dancing, gymnastics, and tennis and has now started playing softball for the first time.  She seems to really be enjoying the sport.  She and her friend, Marissa, auditioned and were chosen to perform in the Intermediate school's variety show on May 8.  They will be doing an Irish jig.  She is very excited about it.

One of Karen's favorite things to do these days is climb the walls.  Literally!  She and her friend Anna love to climb the walls at Anna's house.  They are getting quite good at it.  They even play clapping games with each other while they are up at the ceiling!

This year, Karen wanted an 'Around the World' party theme for her 9th birthday.  The girls decorated travel journals and travel bags, played a couple of games from around the world, and tried a variety of foods from different countries.  The guests arrived in outfits from different countries:  France, India, China, Norway, Singapore and America.  It was an enjoyable afternoon.
